Serres Buffalo Fillet Buffalo meat is the red meat with the lowest fat content and extremely high nutritional value, while it is a delicious nutritious food. In a beautiful area, near the Greek-Bulgarian borders, on the northwestern edge of the Serres prefecture and on the shores of Lake Kerkini and Strymon, fifteen buffalo breeders raise approximately 3,500 water buffalo in free-range conditions.
